A Dickens Holiday Volunteer Opportunities
Are You a Frustrated Actor?
Improve Your Improv
Dress up in your best Victorian wear and help provide traditional holiday atmosphere as the citizens of Fayetteville start their holiday shopping downtown!
Volunteers are invited to our FREE improv class, Saturday, November 1 at 1 p.m. at the Arts Council Building, 301 Hay Street. Phoebe Hall, Assistant Professor and Director of Theater at Fayetteville State University will show us the ins and outs of street improv and how best to portray your favorite Dickens character!
We can help you dress the part with clothes you have – be sure to bring them to the meeting – or we have limited costumes we can provide to volunteers. Repeat participants are greatly encouraged. Please RSVP to Leslie at 910-323-1776 by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October29.
